What is the Greatest Hairstyle for my Body Type?

By Article Guy On February 7, 2010 Under Shopping

Whenever I would ask how people make a choice when it comes to selecting a new haircut, I have noticed that people rarely bother checking the hairstyles that fit their face shape and body type.Trends goes up for best bob haircuts. You should always make sure you’re choosing a hairstyle that suits your face shape as it’s kinda more important, while the shape of your body will most likely more affect the overall looks – in other words it will affect the way the others see you. The way your shoulders look and the type of your body may at times be crucial for picking the best hairstyle for you.

It’s common knowledge that different hairstyles will look differently on tall or petite women for example. If you are familiar with your body type the following part of the article might be useful to you. But you {cannot|can’t|could not} make wrong choice by wearing best chopy hairstyles. If not there are really easy ways to find that out. Here are a few fine examples I have found online. It is well known that short asymmetric hairstyles look good on slimmer people. It is also said that long hair, preferably with less volume, elongates the figure and that therefore those hairstyles are just perfect for apple-shaped women.

Women with the pear-shaped body type will want to have long hair with even more volume. Athletic and, especially, tall women should stay far away from extremely short haircuts as those will almost never work out for them. Some people think that tall and athletic women can handle every hairstyle, but I don’t think that is true.

Another example would be petite women – short hairstyles seem to work better for them, while many think they were born for gentle wavy and medium hairstyles. Many different sources on the internet will surely tell you different things about this, as I am guessing there are always exceptions to everything. My suggestion would be to try wearing a wig if you’re about to do something drastic, use a large mirror that can show you the whole figure and see for yourself or ask for other’s opinion – professional opinions are usually the most helpful ones. It is nice to know what you’ll end up looking like.
