Online Network Marketing has recently exploded throughout the entire wed, but I must warn you their are many traps and mistakes that lay along the path of creating a network marketing business online.

I have been using the internet as an advertisement and promotion tool since late 2008, accumulating a list of 6,000 network marketers along the way, growing daily at a rate of 30-40 new contacts.

I noticed that many aren’t training themselves and learning the ropes of becoming a networker rather they’ve shifted to the funded proposal concept and try to sell the affiliate products. Now there is nothing against selling affiliate products, but you must put yourself in the shoes of your prospects.

Once they come to your page, you send them a message that is unheard of, creating leads online, and then sell them many different, yet related products. How can this help build your dream network marketing? I regretfully have to say that it isn’t building anything for you.

You are simply making the program owners lots of sales, hence they will continue to promote through PPC and SEO promotions.

A few adjustments I have made, because you see the internet gives you the ability to generate the “numbers” so you can sponsor people, but how are you going to keep them in the business? The concept of network marketing sponsoring millions of people is blatantly absurd and misleading.

The process of network marketing is to develop and train individual into leaders. How do you build a relationship with the 20 people you sponsored last month with online network marketing? How are you plugging them into company functions?

Would you rather sit behind your computer managing websites for the rest of your life and spend thousands so you can keep promoting affiliate products? This isn’t the reason why I came online nor it is what I wanted to do to generate leads.

Now we are all different I get that, but I know 99% of you will fail with online network marketing because of the following reasons:

1. The learning curve is months, even if you have the best training, webinars the learning curves is months trust me I went through every single step of it.

2. Learning the art of copywriting helps you to become eloquent, inspiring people, as well as earning money for your online business. Thats why I prefer video marketing, I can truly project my message and feelings through video.

3. Everyone and their moms is now promoting affiliate products as their funded proposal, but I have yet to see a single person generate a residual income, not a sales volume or the upfront commission from affiliate products, but an actually network marketing residual check from the web.

You’re going to see people running “negative” ads about how they left their companies and made a huge amount of money in the net.

The whole GPT (Get Paid Today) concept is completely against MLM. If you noticed these are the same marketers who lure people into $8,000-$20,000 programs who market the concept.

Let me repeat my question: Are you a network marketer or an affiliate marketer?

I must make it clear that while the internet has some certain advantages that enable you to generate leads for your network marketing business, you still have to make a follow-up phone call with these people.

There is no magic pill, autopilot downlines do not exist. These are myths to lure you into their systems and sell you useless information.

If you expect to build a network marketing business and truly create that legacy and residual income your going to have to change the way you are marketing on the web and begin to incorporate real world training, meetings, seminars, sit downs with your prospects.
