Weight Loss – A method to lose 23 pounds in 6 months

Have you ever wanted to take a few pounds off? Have you tried a diet that didn´t work? This is a method for losing weight that really works, your commitment is required to get the results; but don´t worry, it´s been designed so that you can commit on it very easily. You will have to change your eating habits a little bit, and stick to the new ones long enough so you get rid of the weight you want to.

Let´s do the math in this method first. To lose 23 pounds in six months all you have to do is lose a little bit less than a pound every week. That´s  reasonable, doesn´t it? Now that you have a reachable goal and also an idea about how long it will take you to succeed, start weighting yourself. That´s right, you´ll need some measurements, so try to do it before you eat anything in the morning.

Sometimes losing weight seems to be very slow, but don´t be very concerned about the daily variations, if you keep consistent with your actions, eventually, you will lose weight consistently. Just keep on weighting yourself every day and take notes for your reference.

Make a goal for the first week, don´t eat anything after dinner. This would be challenging if you´re like almost everybody else, avoiding a late evening or night time snack could be very difficult. But it will give your body a longer time until you eat again so this is very important. Now think about this, have you ever get hungry in the middle of the day and eat a cookie or snack to satisfy your hunger? That´s very common. But what if you get hungry in the middle of the night? Probably you won´t do anything unless you have to, you´ll go to sleep and wait until next morning when you´ll be hungry and ready to eat right after you wake up.  If you last ate at 6pm and don´t get up until 6am that means you´ve gone through 12 hours losing weight.

If you continue doing that for seven days, congratulations! You deserve to recognize that you´ve followed your commitment. Now decide to set this goal for the next six months, also start drinking more water after the seventh day. You should drink, at least, a liter everyday. Buy a liter bottle and try to drink it during the day.

From this point on, you will want to increase your daily water intake. I will tell you why: water will fill you up. It´s simple, if you´re filled up with water, you won´t feel like eating too much.

Well, this is the plan to get rid of 23 pounds in 6 months. Keep records of your weight every day; try to eat less food, specially those snacks after dinner and drink more water.
