How to Get Fast Abs

So you want to learn how to get fast abs, huh?? You want to get that flat stomach you see on all the commercials, then maybe with a nice little minefield of blocks along that abdominal line?? Looking for the sort of abs that can usually only be seen on TV or onstage in some Las Vegas show?? The good news is that your goal isn’t completely out of reach.? The bad news is that you probably think you can do it by strapping some electro-shock belt to your stomach or drink a green whey shake once a day and be done with it.? If you want abs like that, my friend, you’re going to have to work for them.

Don’t get discouraged yet: you haven’t even gotten started!? I know what I said might be a little harsh, but it certainly is true:? all muscle-building techniques take some work and time, and with abs it takes quite a bit of both.? Another good thing:? while it’s true that the work it takes to get that abs is a pretty long process, it’s not as if you’ll have to kill yourself to get the sort of tummy you’ve always wanted.

If you really want to get good looking abs fast, all you have to do is remember to keep at it.? Aside from your daily crunch and leg-lift routines, you may also want to consider doing some isometric work (Tensing and relaxing your abs while sitting) during the course of your work day.?? You don’t have to tell anyone.? You really don’t have to draw any attention to yourself.? Doing isometric work is kind of like doing Kegels exercises:? It takes so little visible effort that it can be done pretty much anywhere.? On the other hand it does help you along the way to getting those great abs faster than if you just stuck to the regular routine.

The trick to getting great abs, that?s the thing:? there is no “trick.”? The key to sculpted muscles is and has always been a two-fold process:?workout and diet.? And by “diet” I don’t mean to start taking a bunch of appetite suppressants.? The best way to get those abs shaped up is to eat well AND do ab workouts on a regular basis.  You will probably be a little tired at the end of each day at first, but hey– pain’s part of the process.? After a while, the constant ab workouts will all be part of the routine.? Before you know it, you’ll look down and see those ripples you’ve been dreaming about for the last few months.
