A lot of us know what we want out of life, but it’s also true that very few of us seem to actually get it. We don’t have the expensive cars, great mansions, jobs we want, or perfect families. Instead, we struggle, try and fail to get those things, but why? We have the skills and abilities we want, and the winners at this are no better than we are, but we don’t know just what attracting abundance means.

What does attracting abundance mean, exactly? It means that you manifest your needs and desires within your conscious and subconscious mind, both, letting the universe know that you are worth having your dreams manifest for you. We have to believe in our abilities and the universe’s power; if we can do that, we can be richly blessed.

Thoughts have power, and reflect our needs and desires, self-esteem, everything; they directly influence what we attract into our lives. If you’re self-loathing and don’t believe in your own abilities, how easy do you think attracting abundance will be? However, if you think positively and learn to be confident, your life can overflow with abundance.

What is it about attracting abundance that some people seem to get and others don’t? In fact, no one is special and everyone can do this. It can work well for you, no matter who you are, as long as you harness your thoughts and ask the universe for guidance. Figure out why you want the things you want, and use meditation and self-reflection to help discover just exactly what that is.

If you want to start to attract abundance, use a journal and note cards to record daily thoughts. If you catch yourself in a negative thought, write it down on a card and then change it to something positive. For example, if you write, “I hate my job,” that’s probably not going to get you something better.

You could replace this negative draining thought by writing down ‘I deserve to work in a position I love.’ You can also choose to make the statement more detailed if desired. Using the note card to write down the specific field you are interested in, the ideal salary, and the exact position. Constantly look at these note cards and mentally picture yourself getting what you want.

Make a box for your goals, and put in your note cards, pictures that support positive thinking. If your goal is to own your own home, then your box could include pictures of the dream home you want, brochures from real estate companies and carpet samples.

By the way, fantasy is very important when it comes to attracting abundance. In addition, sleeping and dreaming lets our imagination soar and release its creativity. When relaxed, and more open, and we can fantasize to our heart’s content without incurring negative thoughts. To use this, you can focus on your thoughts while you’re falling asleep, and ask for what you want from the universe.

One of the easiest ways to meditate is to do so in front of the picture that shows what you want to get, or in front of something that represents the goals you want to achieve. Within this mirror every day and say something positive about yourself that you really mean, so that you can increase your confidence.

Remember, too, that once you can actually connect with it, the universe will give you what you want quite quickly. Watch and see; once you fully believe that attracting abundance is easy, see just how easy it doesn’t come, and you’ll see that obstacles and stumbling blocks simply seem to disappear and melt away.
